I’ve saved more money than I ever have with special deals with the big name electricity companies!
At times it can be more expensive due to the unfixed nature of the pricing but the savings out way that! Just recently I only paid $30 for a month of electricity (couple).It’s all about timing your usage if you can help it! They are an Australian company, you just pay a small subscription fee and then the wholesale rate for electricity. You can't compare it to any other company, because it's not something anyone else is doing.
Electricity is fairly cheap most of the time, a lot cheaper than other company's set peak or even off-peak rates (if they have one). If you avoid high load at expensive times, you can save a lot of money and the Amber app makes it easy to do that. Plus the cheap times are greener, so you are actually doing something that helps the environment, not just paying a tariff.

I've been with Amber for a few years and I'm completely happy with their service, their product and their attitude and helpfulness.
The free app is a game changer in putting the power into the hands of the user.
