Transitioning to new Terms and Conditions

Dear Amber Customer,

We’re getting in touch because we have a small ask of you. We’ve got some new terms and conditions for customers that will come into effect on December 1 and we need your consent so that we can continue to provide electricity services to you.

You can read the terms and conditions in full here.

Why we're updating our terms and conditions
When Amber was a brand new company taking on the big guys, we provided electricity services with the support of our partner, Energy Locals. Now, thanks to the support of thousands of customers like yourself, we’ve become an energy retailer in our own right - hurrah!

What’s going to change?
Not much. Bit of an anti-climax, we know.
These new terms and conditions are more of a formality than anything else.

Here’s what they will NOT affect:

• The way you receive Amber’s unique wholesale electricity pricing
• Your subscription fee
• You billing or payment methods
• How you interact with us.

On life support? We’ve got you covered.
The new terms and conditions let us manage your registration with your local distributor with no further action needed from you.

What happens next
If you accept the terms and conditions, you’ll continue to receive electricity from Amber just as you have to date. We’ll be in touch to confirm when you are officially transferred to these new terms and conditions, sometime after December 1 2021.

If you have more than one property with Amber, we’ll treat your consent here as applying to all accounts. Please reach out directly if you don’t want this to occur.

In the meantime, get in touch at info@amber.com.au if you have any questions.

Thanks for your support.

Cheers,
Chris - Co-Founder and Co-CEO, Amber
