Amber Electric Terms and Conditions

Offer of twelve months’ free subscription to Amber is for customers who complete the sign up by 30/06/2022. This offer is only available to customers who have directly received this communication from CommBank and who enter their unique customer code upon joining Amber. By clicking on any links directing to the Amber website and commencing the sign-up process, Amber will collect and handle your personal information under the collection notices and privacy policy as outlined on the website.

Eligibility 

To redeem the exclusive CommBank offer of 12 months free subscription, sign-up to Amber by clicking ‘Switch to Amber’, link your CommBank Credit Card or bank account as your Amber account payment method and ensure you complete all eligibility requirements including the below: 

• If during the time you switch your payment method to a non-CommBank account, or your CommBank card expires, the discount will be removed from your account.  
• The 12 months is an initial promotional period, after this customers will pay $15 subscription fee on-going. 
• You are free to cancel at any time without charge, however cancelling your service within the first 12 months forfeits any remaining discounted months. 
• This offer cannot be transferred to another person or party.
• Should you relocate address within the first 12 months, the offer is transferable to your new address. 
• This offer is not valid in conjunction with any other offer or discount.

Guarantee 

To be eligible for the guarantee, each CommBank customer who is transferring to Amber must:

• continue to be an Amber customer for a full 12 month period;
• be at the same connection address or in the same local network area as registered previously with previous electricity provider;
• at the end of the 12 months if the customer would have paid less under their plan with previous electricity provider, the customer should send Amber • a bill from their previous electricity provider from previous electricity provider (if they haven't previously).
• Amber will calculate what the customer would have paid with previous electricity provider and refund the difference between their actual Amber bill and the amount they are likely to have paid with previous electricity provider.
• To apply for the credit, send a bill from your previous electricity provider to info@amber.com.au with the subject line CommBank customer guarantee and if you are eligible, Amber will credit your next month's bill.
